Olena Serova – teaching solfege, musical theory for adults, and composition.

Well known Ukrainian composer, P.h.d. in musicology, member of the National Ukrainian Composers Union, winner of several competitions, Laureate of the National Revutsky Prize offered by Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Her knowledge in musical composition Olena received first in Glier Institute of music in Kiev, studying with O.Kanerstein, then in the Tchaicovsky National music Academy of Ukraine, in class of A.Gavrylec. As a pedagogue, Olena took a post-graduation course in Krakow music Academy (Poland). She was a member of a “Gaude Polonia” cultural project under the patronage of Minister of Culture and national inheritance of Republic Poland.
Olena Serova composed over 60 pieces in different genres that are performed in concert halls of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, and Great Britain.
